In-House Veterinary Laboratory in Dubuque, IA

Colonial Terrace Animal Hospital has an extensive in-house veterinary laboratory that allows us to perform chemistry panels, electrolytes, and complete blood counts.  Our Certified Veterinary Technicians run fecal and urine samples in-house on a daily basis.  This in-house testing can provide us with valuable information about critically ill patients quickly when every minute counts and they require immediate treatment. Our doctors and technicians take advantage of continuing education courses to expand their skills and knowledge of the latest veterinary laboratory techniques in cytology, hematology, and parasitology. We also use several outside laboratories, both local and across the country, for special sample testing when indicated.
